21/22 Autism Training Event at Shrewsbury Town Football Club

The Good Autism Practice programme supports a solid understanding of autism combined with practical strategies and resources for all practitioners working directly with autistic pupils.

This training will support participants in:

·         Understanding the key areas of developmental difference experienced by autistic pupils.

·         Understanding the individual pupil and how to profile their strengths and their developmental needs.

·         Understanding the importance of building positive relationships with and around the pupil.

·         Understanding how to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of the individual pupil.

·         Understanding how to make the environment more accessible to autistic pupils.

·         Developing practical strategies and techniques in promoting effective teaching and learning.
