This course
will cover:
- the key OFSTED and national
legislation and guidelines relating to equality and diversity in schools
- an understanding of teachers roles and responsibilities in relation to equality and diversity and the
expectation to teach and promote British Values
- why issues around equalities and
diversity need to be central to the ethos of a school and explore
promoting positive approaches to equalities and diversity
- supporting senior leaders to
effectively assess and audit provision to meet OFSTED expectations
- embedding British Values and Diversity into the whole school curriculum
