This event will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams
Audience
Y2 teachers responsible for the administration for the end of KS1 assessments.
This course will also be of interest to senior leaders responsible for assessment and moderation. Schools wanting to support transition into lower KS2 may wish to send Y3 teachers alongside Y2 teachers.
Course Content
This course enables Year 2 teachers and senior leaders to understand the statutory requirements for KS1 national curriculum assessments and reporting for 2022-2023
Delegates will have the opportunity to:
- understand any changes to assessment for 2022-2023
- understand the statutory requirements for KS1 national curriculum assessment
- familiarise themselves with how to use the teacher assessment frameworks and the exemplification materials to make judgements for pupils at the end of KS1 in 2023
- briefly consider strategies for in-school and cluster moderation
- be updated on external moderation
- review previous years KS1 test materials

- Knowing about the key changes to assessment
- Being confident in using the teacher assessment frameworks to make robust and accurate judgements for pupils at the end of KS1 in 2023
- Knowing how to administer the set of KS1 national curriculum tests
