Yr1/Yr2 teachers responsible for the administration of the Phonics Screening Check (PSC)
This course will also be of interest to senior leaders responsible for assessment and moderation.
Course Content:
This course enables all teachers undertaking the PSC, and senior leaders. to understand the statutory requirements for the PSC assessment and reporting arrangements for 2022-2023
Delegates will have the opportunity to:
- understand any changes to the assessment for 2022-2023
- understand the statutory requirements for the Phonics Screening Check
- familiarise themselves with how to conduct the PSC
Outcomes
Delegates will:
- know about the key changes to assessment
- be confident in knowing the expectations for the PSC 2023
- know how to administer and report the PSC
