The decision to become an academy and join/create a multi-academy trust is significant, strategic and also historic in the development of the school.
Frequently governing bodies approach this alone and the journey through these previously unchartered waters can be daunting.
Michael Barratt is a retired Chief Executive Officer of a trust in our region who has worked both in local authority schools and academies (in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin) and who has discussed this decision extensively with many governing bodies in recent years.
We offer a two-hour objective conversation with Michael which will take the form of a brief presentation in terms of rationale, roles, timelines and the major dimensions of this strategic decision.
“Thanks again for your
wonderful support and insights as we would not have been able to get to this
point without you.”
“Thank you for your support
and giving of information during the meeting is was exactly what the evening
needed and I was very grateful for your knowledge throughout.”
