The role of the EVC (including standards and competencies).
Risk assessment and management.
Supervision and leadership.
Communication with parents.
Monitoring procedures.
Emergency procedure.
Outcomes
Participants will:
Be able to assess the competence of prospective party leaders.
Ensure appropriate risk assessments are recorded prior to visits and journeys.
Apply the local authority 'Guidelines for Educational Visits and Journeys'.
Please note - A certificate will be issued for attendance at this training which is then valid for 3 years after which date you will be required to attend a half day revalidation course.
