Content
This course is for room leaders working with children under the age of 2, along with their manager, acknowledging and recognising the high level of responsibility and skills needed to provide quality care for under 2’s.
Over the three sessions, we will investigate and identify what high-quality provision should look like in the Baby Room, from thoughtful design and tranquil spaces, to comforting routines provided by confident and reflective staff.
At the end of the course, the settings who have attended the training, will be provided with an audit tool to support them in evaluating the provision on offer in their Baby Room.
There will be a short gap task to complete, between sessions one and two.
Session 1 will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams. Sessions 2 and 3 will be delivered as face to face sessions at University Centre Shrewsbury.
Please note there
are two places available per setting.
