Content
This one day course (delivered over 2 sessions) is for teachers, practitioners and TA’s who work with 3 and 4 year olds
The course is delivered on 17.10.23 and 18.10.23 and attendance is required at both sessions.
What is Early Talk Boost?
Early Talk Boost is a targeted intervention for 3- 4 year old children with language that is delayed. The programme is delivered by trained practitioners and provides a structured programme that boosts children’s progress in language and communication by an average of 6 months after a nine week intervention.
Why should you sign up?
As previously communicated, The Speech and Language Therapy team are moving towards a graduated response model which, for some children, will involve collating evidence of having implemented one of the recognised screening and intervention tools prior to referral. Being able to deliver Early Talk Boost in your setting or school will enable you to evidence your graduated response.
