Content
This
training is specifically for Committee members of early years settings.
The training will be a 2 hr session, to gain a
certificate the session need to be attended for the full duration.
Outcomes
Delegates will cover
information to help them
•
Recognise what safeguarding and child
protection is.
•
Recognise the main categories of child
abuse and those that are a local focus for priority.
•
Have an overview of the Shropshire
Safeguarding Community Partnership (SSCP) arrangements and the role of Early
Years setting within this arrangement.
•
Be clear about the Committee boards
statutory role for child protection and safeguarding.

ensuring effective safeguarding arrangements in their setting
